Moving abroad after a City and Guilds training course - Trades people in Thailand

Not all people choose to go into a certain profession based on the amount of money they could earn. There are many reasons why a young lad or lady may wish to become a qualified trades person. Teenagers that watch their older brother travel to exotic countries of the world for six months and then spend the rest of the time back in the UK working will obviously be wishing they could do the same. Although South East Asia is made up of quite a few countries, the most popular of them is Thailand. Anyone that has spent time in Chiang Mai up north will have been impressed by not only its natural beauty but by the friendliness of the local people too. What many trades people from the UK choose to do in order to escape the winter months in Britain is rent an apartment in places like Chiang Mai or other parts of Thailand.

There are some really useful websites around today that provide information about property in Chiang Mai and the various things to do and see in this beautiful part of the world. Becoming a qualified bricklayer or electrician will involve a lot of hard work and determination. However, whereas in the past most people needed to do a four year apprenticeship if they wanted to get a job as a tradesperson, these days it is possible to gain a proper qualification in a much shorter time. This can be achieved by committing yourself full time to a City and Guilds training course rather than attending college block release from a sponsoring employer. But at the end of the day, young people with a desire to travel the world by becoming a tradesperson will do whatever it takes to achieve their goals in life.

Those interested in moving to Chiang Mai permanently will either need to have a lot of money in the bank or retrain to apply their new skills in Thailand. Many people in fact end up training to become an English teacher rather than go back to the UK every 6 months to return to their normal job. Although it is quite easy to find a place to live in Chiang Mai without professional help, one will be able to save a lot of money if you use the services of a real estate expert found on the net. Online real estate agents that provide their services for people looking for an apartment in Chiang Mai usually charge a very reasonable rate. The cost of recognised courses for a variety of professions in the UK will vary depending on which level you want to take and in fact if you wish to go onto advanced or not. But if you think about how useful having a recognised qualification is in a particular trade, the cost of the course or courses will be insignificant once you start earning a good wage. Some bricklayers in the UK can earn up to £150.00 per day.
